My name is Larry Draper and although I'm from the class of 1975 my story begins a little sooner than that. On April 5,1973 I had my first date with Rosemary Chamberlain (class of 1977) who I would go on to marry on Sept 16, 1978 and celebrate our 42nd anniversary in 2020.
So many memories, like the time we borrowed a classmate's extra car keys and moved his car from his parking spot every day for a month before he finally caught on. Another time, another classmate and I were smoking a substance that would eventually become legal at the top of Mercer stadium when his 70's long hair caught on fire and once we got the fire out wondered if his dad would notice, he did. The early 70's were like a page out of American Graffiti for those of us at NWSS during that time.
I spent most of grade 11 and 12 at the brand new autoshop with Mr Wilkinson and would later go on to become a night school instructor from 1979 - 2006.
I am thankful for the over 30 years NWSS was a daily part of my life and treasure the many friends and life lessons I got along the way.
